My Story

My spiritual journey began in childhood. When I was four years old, I heard a voice say to me, “Don’t worry, Tim. Everything’s going to be okay. You’ll grow up.”

At the time, I didn’t understand where the voice had come from or what it meant. Looking back now, I understand it as my first conscious experience of hearing Spirit.

I’ve always felt a little different, as though I never quite fitted into the box society had created for me. But like many people, as I grew up, spirituality faded into the background. Through my teens, twenties and thirties, I was far more interested in drinking, partying and building a successful career. I thought achieving the things I wanted in life would eventually make me happy.

But they didn’t.

In 2017, I began meditating every day, and something started to shift. I began having profound spiritual experiences, including hearing Spirit again, and in 2019 I experienced a kundalini awakening that completely changed the direction of my life.

Since then, I’ve shared much of my awakening journey in real time on social media, particularly TikTok. What began simply as me speaking openly about what I was experiencing gradually grew into a community of people interested in spirituality, awakening and looking at life differently.

What followed became a journey of awakening, grief, loss, healing and learning to go within. It ultimately led me to write my memoir, Spirit Having a Human Experience — sharing not only the story of my life, but the spiritual journey that has transformed the way I understand who — and what — I am.

For many years, my working life was in banking and mortgage broking. Today, my path looks very different.

I don’t practise a particular healing modality. I’m not a psychic, medium or therapist, and I don’t claim to have all the answers. What I offer is something much simpler: open-hearted conversation.

Through sharing what I’ve learned from my own experiences, spiritual awakening and years of going within, I create a space where people can talk openly about what they’re experiencing, explore different perspectives and reconnect with the wisdom already within them.

These conversations may also challenge some deeply held beliefs. We may explore questions about who and what we really are, the nature of life and death, and even the nature of reality itself.

My intention isn’t to tell anyone what they should believe, but to offer another perspective and encourage them to look within and discover what feels true through their own experience.

I don’t see myself as someone who heals another person. I believe healing can happen through honest, open-hearted conversation and a willingness to look at ourselves and our experiences differently.

More than a memoir, Spirit Having a Human Experience explores what it means to awaken to who — and what — we really are.

Through one human life, it explores the possibility that beneath our stories, identities, struggles and experiences, we are something far greater: spirit having a human experience.
